About me
Philosophy of photography
I believe that wildlife photography can serve as a bridge to the realisation that the planet does not exist just for us, but for all living things. Nature is neither moral nor immoral, it is amoral and as such stands outside of good and evil. From the species we find adorable to the animals that disgust us, from the stories of care and tenderness to the stories of parasitism and cruelty, all in one whole that we find fascinating, beautiful and yet nothing can be left out. I believe that a proper understanding and integration of opposites is the key that can lead man out of the vicious circle of anthropocentrism and opportunism. A man facing the climate crisis and the most pressing problems from which, like himself, we can no longer escape.
